Hve received some truly heartwarming compliments and it inspires me to work even harder and faster in the future. I have lots of work to complete and an exhibition to prepare for in 12 months time having postponed this years due to the amount of commissions Ive undertaken. All in all a good turnout for the Open Doors both socially and financially....and I think I WILL be able to afford to get to Warners for my seaside weekend break 2012-5-13 13:32:00 http://www.monttomsart.com/page3.htm#110184 I have just had to cancel my forthcoming exhibition scheduled for the Oxmarket in JuneJuly this year. Disappointing but silly to stay under so much pressure. I have been so busy with commissions during the last six months I really have had no time to get much personal painting completed. My theme for this year was Urban Images shsowing a series of Townscapes. I am now negotiating for next year at the same time. JuneJuly. I must admit I feel better already now that the heavy burden of creative responsibility seems to have been lifted I have 3 new commissions to complete and a renovationpaint job on a large Gallery sign....and all to be completed by the middle of February. This should keep me out of mischief for a few weeks at least I have West SussexChichester Open Doors Weekends to look forward to and hopefully some more work may come out of that.
